Okay you all, I am 99% done but I had to get up to go to work this morning but I have 33 pages left to read. Had it not been for my waste of time book club meeting yesterday I would be done. It is very autobiographical in the dealings with her mom. She was actually working on this before HOW STELL GOT HER GROOVE BACK but when her mom died she had to put it down. Reading this has helped me deal with some of my own issues concerning my father's death and thinking about him at the moment he is passing on. I can see how this book was cathartic for as well as for other readers. This could definitely be made into a series but like I said yesterday, it has a SOUL FOOD the series vibe so maybe Terry is a DAY LATE

Again it is an EXCELLENT book and I am glad to see her back with some good stuff because although I liked HOW STELLA, it was truly a 300 page sentence.
