This is just kind of an off shoot, but Beta's made thongs this year as a party favor for their stuido 54 party *I think* but it could have been a different party. The guy who helps me with our tshirts though is a Beta and he showed them to me and asked what I thought.

I was a little sketched out by that!!! Imagine asking your date "Hey what size thong should I order you?....."
