The reasons aren't totally clear but I think Oxana (I have friends who are deeply into the pageantry world) had a boyfriend back in Russia who just did not want to let her out of his sight...consequently she could not do her prescribed duties and thus she was asked to step down.

I would not give my title up because I had a boyfriend that couldn't deal with the fact I won a title and would have to represent it. He should have been happy for her and supported her in anyway possible. Those two better get married after all that! BTW this why she really gave up her title? About the weight thing again they give you a personal trainer after you win a title to get in shape for Miss USA and Miss Universe. I plan on getting a personal trainer if I am choosen to go to MIss Ohio USA. Lord knows I will need to get toned. I am really not a big fan of two piece swimsuits for competition so I would only wear a one piece. Did anyone else see the one girl with the really cute one piece swimsuit? She wasn't in the top 10 or 15.
