When I rushed...
There were only two houses, so it was clear that there was a rivalry between them. The one thing that really turned me off about this sorority was how they kept complaining about the other sorority. "Oh the other sorority hazes!" "You'll get fined if you ever miss chapter, we never fine here at XYZ." "The other sorority doesn't let you go to chapter, because they don't think you're important enough to go to chapter. We let all of our members go to chapter, and you can even vote." Needless to say, I wasn't very impressed. After I joined the other sorority and went through rush practice, one thing that they always told us is that the name of the other sorority should never be mentioned when a girl is at a rush party in our house. We have only a short amount of time to convince them to be Chi Omegas. You should only focus on the positive aspects of our sorority. It works for us.
Dirty rushing never works out in the end.
