Mine's a weird situation.

I became an alumna over a year ago even though I was still an undergrad and was going to be an undergrad for a while. Why? Because I found out that I couldn't handle going to school full time, working two jobs, and maintain good standing in my chapter. My grades slipped just a bit and I really wanted to focus more on academics. Finances weren't helping either. It was the hardest decision I had to make.

I took a semester off to get my act together and then what do I do? They needed an alumnae editor to do the alumnae newsletter. I gladly volunteered to do it.

Then the collegiate chapter needed a Campus Relations Advisor to serve on Executive Council. A few strings were pulled to make me an advisor since the "rule" states that an advisor needs to be out of school for a certain number of years. I volunteered to do that too.

For some reason, I can't seem to get away. I don't know what I would do if I didn't have AGD in my life. My mom doesn't understand it, and neither do my non-Greek friends.

Just like Ali, I think Imma gonna hafta marry me a Greek man!!!
