Soror AKA2D, sometimes it's the shades of pink and green that people try to combine that does not look that great, especially the bright shades of pink and green. Actually, I've never worn the colors as solids together (green pants/pink shirt or vice versa). But I do wear pink and green floral print dresses, and I bought a pink and green gingham dress this summer that I absolutely love.
