Maybe it was there in your area. I am going to have to go by what Erik says. Erik would be the one that knows because he is probably the most knowledgeable about TKE on the whole board. Erik helped start many chapters in 50's and 60's. Even this day in age here in the south many of the older alum refer to NC State as Dixie Alpha. I have been to many southern chapters and met many southern alums Louisville has never been refered to as Dixie Alpha. I might be wrong but, I know Dixie was one of the regions TKE had in the old days and Kentucky wasn't apart of that region. Could be why they are not concidered Dixie Alpha
