I received a Phi Kappa Tau lavalier om 1999 that I gave back the next year.....
And I got my Kappa Alpha lavalier in 2001!
He bought it at their national convention, and I swear, he was more nervous giving me the lavalier than the engagement ring that came a year later!!!
My chapter did a candle pass and sang some sweet KD songs, but I was being difficult in actually doing the blowing out of the candle, so the Prez (who was the only one that knew!) started one of our "bad" songs, which made me laugh and blow it out.
