Any KD's Lavaliered to a Fraternity man?
 

Hey Ladies!
I was just wondering if any of ya'll are lavalierd to fraternity man at your campus? Do your chapters make a big deal of candle lights and lavaliers? Any sweet stories to tell???

Whoops....forgot to answer my own question! :)

I was given Pi Kappa Alpha letters in the summer of 2001. I had my candle light at the Bid Day Ceremony for our new Fall members! It was great, my big sister made a beautiful candle for me, and my best freind had just accepted our bid for KD, and my sisters were all around....it was great, to have my best freinds near me, and for our newest pledges (whoops, New Members) to see a candlelight, their first! I think it was great....now my Pike man and I are going on 2 and a half years! Sweet!

I received a Phi Kappa Tau lavalier om 1999 that I gave back the next year.....

And I got my Kappa Alpha lavalier in 2001! :D He bought it at their national convention, and I swear, he was more nervous giving me the lavalier than the engagement ring that came a year later!!!

My chapter did a candle pass and sang some sweet KD songs, but I was being difficult in actually doing the blowing out of the candle, so the Prez (who was the only one that knew!) started one of our "bad" songs, which made me laugh and blow it out. :)

I received Sig Ep letters this Januaray. It actually happened in the middle of recruitment so i announced it to the chapter after one of our parties. It was nice because the entire chapter was there and everyone was really excited and happy!

I received my Phi Delt lavaliere from my boyfriend last year on our 2 year anniversary! I had to wait a week to tell anyone (even my roomies) because I wanted my candlelight to be a suprise! It was soo hard not to tell!
