i have heard of people who transfer chapters being granted a "half scroll". Basically they sign inbetween two fraters names at their new chapter, therefore being granted half a scroll number (for example if somebody signed below my name they would be 74 1/2) From what i understand there is nothing official about it (ie International doesn't get notified), but it allows the new frater to feel more a part of his new chapter.
