My interpretation
We have a frater in our chapter who is a transfer from another school. We recognize him by the chapter he was initiated through, however, his seniority in the chapter is that merely of the year by which he was initiated.
Transfer fraters are great because they offer insight and new ideas from their old chapter. I think it's great and further shows that once you're Teke, you're in it no matter how far away from home you are (I hope that made sense).
