NAME: Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia (Full formal name is Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia Fraternity of America)
FOUNDED AT: New England Conservatory of Music (Boston)
FOUNDING DATE: October 6, 1898
NICKNAME: Brothers are usually called Sinfonians, and usually call the Fraternity either Phi Mu Alpha or Sinfonia. (In the old days, it was sometimes "the Sinfonia.") I have also heard people (usually non-Sinfonians) say "PMA."
COLORS: Red, Black, and Gold.
FLOWER: Chrysanthemum (no color in particular)
SYMBOLS: Equilateral triangle, lyre
JEWEL: No official jewel, but the badge is set with 12 pearls and 6 garnets.
MASCOT: None. (But some might suggest that a black cat would be an appropriate mascot, since our early writings, songs and artwork -- and even the name of our first national newsletter -- contain enigmatic references to the "Mystic Cat." )

		| NAME: ALPHA PHI GREEK LETTERS: AF
FOUNDED AT: SYRACUSE UNIVERSITY, SYRACUSE, NY
 FOUNDING DATE: OCTOBER 10, 1872
 COLORS: SILVER & BORDEAUX
FLOWER: LILY OF THE VALLEY & FORGET-ME-NOTS
 MASCOT, SYMBOL: PHI BEAR, IVY
PHILANTHROPY: CARDIOVASCULAR RESEARCH AND EDUCATION, AF FOUNDATION
 | Another symbol is the Big Dipper, however, it's not used too widely.
Our jewel is the pearl and (maybe) the ruby.
Other interesting note, our colors used to be blue and yellow, but we changed them because they were the same as another fraternity.

You know, I went to do this, and now I had a total brain fart. All this cold weather has frozen my brain.
On the subject of Gamma Phi Beta's colors, the chapter at my school uses green. Do a lot of other chapters do that?

astroAPhi.... a lot of chapters have local colors that they use. Our chapter uses light and dark purple, some use pink and white, navy and pink, green and gold....I've heard a whole bunch of different local colors. The international formal colors are brown and mode, otherwise known as dark and light brown though.
