The Basic symbols of all GLO's
Hey, I was looking for a website about the "basic facts" about all GLO's. And I couldnt find one. So I thought we could start a thread on it, and just say our colors, common nicknames and mascot(s), jewels, and anything else you want to say, just for fun. I'll start!
Alpha Omicron Pi Nickname: AOPi (AOII) Colors: Cardinal Red (and although not official colors, we use a lot of black and white) Mascot: We don't officially have one, but the Panda bear is the "mascot" of choice. Symbol: The deep red Jacqueminot Rose!!! Jewel: The Ruby (pearls and diamonds are also widely used but unofficial) |

Nickname: KD Colors: originally olive green and pearl white, but emerald green and bright white are used more commonly now. Mascot: teddy bear, katydid (some chapters have their own additional mascots, like frogs and ladybugs) Symbol: nautilus shell, dagger Flower: white rose Jewel: pearl, diamond, and emerald |

Phi Mu announced its founding March 4, and so celebrates that as Founder's Day.
Phi Mu no longer holds the Enchantress Carnation as its official flower; the flower is basically extinct, and was becoming increasingly difficult to obtain. Now we just use rose-colored carnations. |
