no, i don't think that's true. i'm pretty sure that kappa kappa gamma is still at miami univ. in oxford, ohio. are you concerned because you're a kappa legacy? you might want to check with the dean that deals with greek affairs if you're concerned about whether or not the chapter still exists.

i've never heard of all chapters of a sorority within an entire state being banned together.
