Are they gone?
I'm attending U. of Cinncinati in the fall. But a friend of mine told that most of the Kappa chapters in Ohio were banned, is this true? They're still active in Tennessee (where I'm from), but I just wanted to know if there was truth in this rumor.
|
no, i don't think that's true. i'm pretty sure that kappa kappa gamma is still at miami univ. in oxford, ohio. are you concerned because you're a kappa legacy? you might want to check with the dean that deals with greek affairs if you're concerned about whether or not the chapter still exists.
i've never heard of all chapters of a sorority within an entire state being banned together. |
I do believe that Whoa was refering to Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity.
Have you checked the national website or asked any active members of the org? Most of the time rumors are wrong, so it's best to cut through all the mess and go straight to the source. |
Dear whoa:
I can't glean from the context of your post whether you are talking about the women's group Kappa Kappa Gamma, or the men's group, Kappa Alpha Psi. However, the advice posted by those above me is excellent. You may want to check with either the dean that deals with greek affairs for that particular campus, or just inquire with the Headquarters for that particular group as to whether they still have a chapter for that campus. Good Luck! |
I am speaking about Kappa Alpha Psi, but no one I know at any Ohio school has been able to tell me.

This is the link to the U of Cinn chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi, Beta Eta Chapter
