I went to the University of St. Thomas for a bit. The medical center is only about 5 - 7 minutes away, so I was always visiting a friend of mine who was at Rice University at the time. Even though the schools are not that far apart, the areas they are in are definitely very different. I'm sure you know what I mean. I love the medical center area. I always secretly wished that St. Thomas was there. I lived on campus and as beautiful as it is, the Rothko Chapel was in my backyard. An actual neighborhood was to my right.

Ahhh, I have lots of memories from when I was at St. Thomas and living in Houston. I've been thinking about going back to St. Thomas, but when I was there two years ago, it was not for me -- that's why I left. I don't know, but there's something about Houston that's leaning me towards going back.

I go to Houston every so often to visit. I have a good amount of cousins up there who I am close to. They all live in the NW area, over by 1960/249. There are a few others in the Cypress area as well.

Ahhh, okay, I definitely wrote a good amount and I have no idea why. I'm sorry for rambling. I guess it's b/c I am missing Houston more than I ever thought I would.
