I didn't go through formal recruitment. My story was that I was a transfer student and it was my second semster here. I wasn't really meeting anyone from my classes and most my friends we at the jc or at another college. I was looking to to meet more people. So I researched into clubs and organizations. At 1st I was like I will never be a sorority girl (I learned never say never). But as I researched the sororties more at their websites, I liked what I saw in Alpha Delta Pi. I knew that it was the only sorority I wanted to join. So I contacted them through the website. I got a whole bunch of email from the girls. I meet with 5 of them at the school's coffee place with 2 other girls (who later became sisters too) . We talked and they explained stuff. I was nervous cuz I was like what if they r too sorority girlish and plus i was shy. They had just had their Black Dimond Formal a week b4 and had picture to show. I could see how much they loved ADPi and wanted to show others what our sisterhood meant. I also liked how diverse they were, not ur cookie cutter sorority. They were truly genuine girls. I knew I picked the right sorority. So 2 weeks later I signed my bid and the rest is history......
