Definitely. Adding opportunities for more girls to experience greek life was one of the main motivations for wanting to establish a new colony.

The only thing that Stan (the advisor) said was a concern was getting a house. Of course, the university really doesn't have any control over the empty houses, that's up to the national hq, but he said that IU would put in every good word possible in efforts to get a house. Well...there was another thing...we really couldn't colonize this semester because of women's rush. It's just too busy for everyone involved in greek life to have recruitment and a new colony at the same time. I should email my group's spokesperson to see if she's heard anything recently.

One of my friends is also a senior and it's upsetting that there's the possibility that she won't get to be a part of a sisterhood. I really want to get things on the ball, not only because I hate waiting, but because I want to be able to have her as my sister.
