I agree with everything that is being said. My mother would have whooped my azz for disresepcting an adult and when I came home crying holding my tooth, she would have finished the job by knocking out another one!

These children are a product of their environment; violence, poverty, neglect and chaos are an everyday thing. Are they beyond rehabilitation?
I have already heard people say that we "give up" on kids too easily and that the kids should not be "warehoused" in the prison system.
To me, it's one thing if these kids shoplifted some candy from the store around the corner or broke someone's window with a rock. I can work with that.
But it is quite another to beat a man Reginald Denny style and have no remorse whatsoever. I think they sealed their fate and I am not interested at all in indicting the system for what happened.
