Maybe it's just my school, but you don't need to know a sorority sister to rush! Contact your greek coordinator/advisor and ask her when the parties are. Then you get a friend that may want to do it with you, or maybe she doesn't, but you take her with you for moral support, and you go to the rush party. Trust me, if you represent that group's ideals, they'll be interested in you, no matter who you knew before you walked in the door.
