I apologize for crashing your board, but I just want to apologize on behalf of all the historically white fraternity and sorority members who find this sort of behavior repugnant and disgusting. No one can reasonably claim that these guys didn't know what they were doing (even if you're ignorant about blackface, you have to know what a Klan robe symbolizes).
I am pleased to see that AGR's nationals is not just looking the other way on this. They seem to realize what an egregious thing their members have done here. But how many moronic chapters are going to do things like this before they realize what they're doing is at the very least going to get them in trouble and at most just how wrong it is? How long before all historically white fraternity groups are perceived as being full of "white racist jerks"? Personally, I'd like to see the NIC proactively take a stance against this stuff. It shouldn't take resolutions from the top to stop folks from doing this, but ... apparently it's going to.
