I used to listen to Sarah And Vinnie[ALICE 97.3] but Vinnie is gone and I can't stand "No Name". The funny thing is a new station[92.7--The Party] came on right around the same time Vinnie left and plays only dance music {includes house, trance, progressive, jungle, dance}NO hip hop or rap! No morning show either. I like GOOD dance music to wake me up cause' I'm not a morning person but I was sooo lucky to get a 830am class
I tried to listen to the station that syndicates the Tom Joyner morning show {98.1-KISS*FM} but they play too much music. The old Sarrah and Vinnie morning show played maybe 5 songs during the 4 1/2 hours they were on and only played those during the 1st half hour of the show which started at 530am.
I miss S&V but like they say all good things must come to an end. They were on together for 4 years.
BTW, when I was in Miami this past summer, they had the same station with the same format[The Party]. My guess is that a huge media company got the concept for the music and started a string of stations in major cities that support this type of music! Good for me!

Hey, are you from Detroit? I listen to them once in a while.
When I wake up and get ready in the morning, it's always Jay Towers and the Morning Revolution on 93.1 DRQ!!! I absolutely love DRQ, cept when their music gets repititive, which is frequently. When 10am hits, I get so mad cuz the revolution is over. I love Rachel Hunter and Jay Towers, they crack me up!

Stan... is Welcome to the Jungle a national Delt Sig thing? Cuz the guys go crazy here when that song is played! It's kinda funny cuz it's like a huge Delt Sig mosh pit, and it's really cool that they have that tradition.

It's like the movie Clueless, when that guy asks Alicia Silverstone if she likes Billie Holiday, and she replies "I Love HIM".

The part of the Howard Stern show that I heard was awesome. I think he completely rebroadcast his show from last year later on though. He talked to some guy that was on the 64th floor and somehow got to the 22nd floor. The building collapsed and he was like the last thing to fall. They found him 3 hours later with only a broken foot. Of course, the guy telling the story had me in tears, but that is the jist of it.
He also talked to Billy Joel, Bon Jovi, and some other stars about where they were/what they did to help/how it affected their lives.
There was also a segment on the show where he interviewed business owners whose shops are by the WTC. They were talking about the impact on their lives and business that Sept. 11th had.
Definitely a nice break from porn stars and making fun of handicapped people

Also a clone
At 9 a.m., I switch from jazz to Jim Rome. I can also hear Rome at 1 p.m. again if it's particularly good. One of the blessings of living in Southern California.
