We have an intake about every 4 years at the Grad Chapter of my affiliation. Membership is offered only to those who didn't have the opportunity to enter the gates of Omega via the undergrad route :

1.) the chapter at your campus was suspended during all your non-freshman years.

2) Your campus didn't have an Omega Chapter.

Man isn't perfect and these guidelines aren't foolproof. Some have slipped through the cracks... But, that's the normal statutes most Grad Candidates must pass to get the opportunity. Also, usually, a Grad Candidate (at our chapter) is ineligible until he's been a graduate for 4 calendar years. And Grad candidates, since they are much more experienced in life than 19-22 year old undergrads, have to demonstrate their accomplishments and deeds (service) to a high degree to get "the vote".
oh...okay! I guess. So you're basically speaking from your chapter's way of doing things and not necessarily that of Omega Psi Phi, Inc?

You don't have to answer. Really, you don't.
