Kind of but not really? It’s June 14th. And no, I didn’t even know she was getting married until that following morning. She texted me the wedding website at like 1 a.m., but obviously I was asleep.
I saw it that Saturday morning when I was heading out for coffee to meet my friends, and I’m standing there like… wait. Wedding? Husband? Since when? Because she has literally never mentioned a guy during any of our phone conversations. Not one “he said,” not one “we went,” not even a soft launch. Just boom!… wedding website.
And now I feel awful because she came to my wedding, but my family and I already had this trip planned since last summer, so I can’t go anyway. So now I’m sitting here feeling guilty, confused, under caffeinated, and apparently several chapters behind in her life story, lol.
