Kappa Rho Sigma (ΚΡΣ)
From the Chat:
You’re thinking of Kappa Rho Sigma (ΚΡΣ).
It was a very small, regional fraternity with only a limited number of chapters (around a dozen at its peak).
It was headquartered at Lewis Wharf in Boston, which is a pretty distinctive detail and lines up with what you remember.
Members were informally referred to as “Krows”, which is where the nickname comes from (playing off the “KRΣ” sound), and it’s often confused with Alpha Chi Rho—but they’re unrelated.
Kappa Rho Sigma never expanded widely and eventually became inactive, which is why it’s not as well-known today.
