When the whole KKG Wyoming thing was being discussed on here, it also came up that KKG - who had previously been one of the groups who AIed extremely rarely, if ever - had changed their policies in 2018 and were now promoting and doing it much more.

I still want to know when and where the coup was.

It changed from NEVER having AI to the current phase. They made this change a few years before they eliminated the legacy policy. I was at a meeting a few years prior and some of the officials in some parts of the country(those in the northeast, in particular) wanted to open it up because they were having a hard time getting alumnae to volunteer to be advisors.

That being said, you will never convince me otherwise that it’s a money grab.

Then if that was the case, why would you not question why alumnae involvement has dried up and try to remedy it before changing policy?

Your guess is as good as mine. I no longer volunteer, primarily because of the policy changes.
