Even without obvious markers, you can spot the difference in structure, proportion, and movement.

Arms are a perfect example. Men’s elbows hang differently, their shoulders sit wider, and their range of motion is more angular. Women have a softer rotation and a more curved skeletal balance. And that’s just arms. The hands and feet tell their own story too. Men typically have broader palms, thicker fingers, and squarer hand shapes. Women’s hands are more tapered, with narrower wrists and more delicate finger articulation. The same applies to feet. Men’s feet are generally wider and flatter with bulkier ankles, while women’s feet have higher arches, narrower structure, and finer bone definition.

Pelvic tilt, clavicle width, limb ratio, gait, it’s all biologically coded. These are anatomical realities that you can’t surgically replicate or hormone away.

You don’t need DNA tests, you need eyes and honesty. That’s all you need. Saying “how would we even know?” only works if we all agree to ignore everything we already do know about the human body.

Biology isn’t a belief system, it’s a blueprint. You don’t identify into a skeleton. The body always tells the truth, even when people don’t.
Wow! LOL!!!! Dude, this is insane detail only a trained eye can see. Some things are obvious, but damn! Lmao!

But I get it. You know through drawing this shit most of your life Lol. Interesting info though, PB.

Yeah, I'm into genealogy!
I learned something new. Are you a member, honeychile? Just me being curious.

And trust me, if I were in a sorority, I’d smile and say, “Congrats on your new pronouns, but no, you’re still not getting a bid.” You don’t rush your way into womanhood. Try again … oh wait, you can’t. Sorry.

End lane swerve.
LOL! CG, real talk. Something I’ve always wanted to ask you, just kept forgetting. I’ll post it on our chat thread since you felt you had to do a lane swerve.

Phrozen, yes, I am a member of the DAR, First Families of Western Pennsylvania, and a couple other pedigree societies. I was raised on genealogy, and my mother was very involved in various groups. Every now and again, I go into a genealogical frenzy and make an attempt on The Mayflower Society. My DNA says that I'm a descendant, but I still need to document the lineage.

I really enjoy "Finding Your Roots," and "Who Do You Think You Are?" - it's the reallife mystery that fascinates me.

I am also a member of the DAR on my Mother's side. Her family (German) settled in upstate NY near Albany. However, I have not been active for quite sometime now.

Nor have I. My chapter is in PA, I'm living in IL now. Didn't really love the local chapter, so I keep my membership in PA.

It seems like a sorority but deeper and harder to become a member of. Am I wrong y’all?

I forgot to leave my opinion on the matter. I won’t get into the details PB posted LOL! because I don’t know what he knows, but I’ll just say this: I cosign with honeychile, CG, and PB - you got people identifying as animals now. Therefore, if a grown man tells me he’s a cat, I’m not buying kibble or building dude a scratching post. Same with gender. Those who disagree with me, believe what you want, but if you ain’t got ovaries or you can’t produce sperm, biology already told the truth.

I’ve never heard of First Families of Western PA. That’s cool! But I wouldn’t qualify lol we are relative newcomers on all sides of my family. Most from overseas, but my dad’s family is from the…other side…of the state. Don’t tell anyone lol

Completely off topic and sorry for the hijack…not much to add since my org hasn’t been exclusively female for many years (although I’ve never met a male member)

Trans people already exist, and exist in our organizations, so good luck trying to sus them out. I'll have their backs every time.

Every time this topic pops up in my organization, I always ask - which part of initiation included the penis inspections? Which one of philanthropic endeavors required us to test our chromosomes? Surely, these things are happening in order for "the trans debate" to be a top concern of theirs.

Shockingly, haven't received an answer. Imagine that.

I can't speak for every chapter, but mine in PA is very much into veterans' affairs, helping the less fortunate, and patriotic endeavors. The chapter I checked out here seemed to be very much into ladies' teas, lunches, and parties. I suppose there's a sorority-like aspect to it, but IMHO, patriotism should come first.

All of this.
Especially the bolded as long as they uphold the values of my org.

I'm glad to hear of this ruling.

AEPhi welcomes transgender women. You're a trans woman - you're a woman, end of story. If you identify as male, go check out the fraternities.

Interestingly enough, I was just reading up on the history of Mardi Gras / Carnival in New Orleans. A number of krewes are restricted by gender, while others are coed. Apparently, an effort was made back in 1991 to overturn the gender restriction. It fell flat, because tradition.

I read the comments on here and I agree and disagree. For me, as a public school teacher, my priority is fostering a safe, respectful environment for every student. If a student requests a preferred name or pronoun, I honor that to uphold our district’s nondiscrimination policy. At the same time, my role is to teach academic standards and facilitate healthy development which means I don’t engage in medical or identity counseling. I strive to be consistent and transparent. I treat every student with dignity while maintaining the factual integrity of the curriculum. In doing so, we balance compassion with clarity, ensuring no child feels marginalized or misled.

All I’m saying is that kids are still developing, and it’s not my place to push identity, it’s my job to teach, listen, and guide. I don’t debate biology, and at the same time, I don’t shame anyone either. I just try to be honest and consistent while giving kids room to grow without confusion or pressure.
