Question: Usually at this time of the year there are all kinds of posts about rush from campuses that defer: IU, Butler, Vandy and Ohio State come to mind; I know there are many others.

Any news? Is rush still at this time of the year? All virtual? Any numbers of sign-ups? We all need diversions, and these events generated lively discussions.

Dates for Spring Formal Recruitment:

*Spring Formal Recruitment Registration Closes: Friday, January 22, 2021 11:59pm
*Sorority Recruitment Orientation: Sunday, January 24, 2021, 7:00pm-9:00pm
*First Weekend: Saturday, January 30-Sunday, January 31, 2021
*Second Weekend: Friday, February 5-Saturday, February 6, 2021
*Bid Day: Sunday, February 7th, 2021

I know that UVA does Deferred and they moved theirs back a little bit, Normally starts around 2nd week of January, but I think it's starting late Jan or early Feb this year.

Ohio State's dates have been moved. Everything is virtual including bid day. Sign-ups are as strong as ever. As of yesterday, they had over 1000 signed up which is on par with prior years.

January 29-30: First Round (Meet the chapters)
January 31: Second Round (Philanthropy)
February 6: Third Round (Sisterhood)
February 7: Preference Round
February 9: Bid Day
