				Largest Local Greek system?

Anyone know where the largest exclusively local greek system is? The school can have national honoraries, but anything social is entirely local.
I presume this would be more likely at Fundamentalist Christian schools, but I don't know.

Augustana College in Rock Island, IL has an exclusively local Greek system. Several organizations are over 100 years old.

If you go to the Almanac of Fraternities & Sororities at the University of Illinois Research Libraries site it lists the fraternities & sororities at every institution including this with locals only.

 | By "largest", are you asking about number of chapters, number of participating students, percentage of the student population, or another metric?

Trinity University in San Antonio has 7 local fraternities and 7 local sororities. About 25% of the undergrads participate.

Otterbein in Ohio had a fairly large local scene at one point, don't know if that's still the case.

A few years ago, I could've told you several but many colleges made the locals go national because of liability issues, one being Shorter University here in Georgia. Others that only had locals have added some nationals--the University of Hawaii and the University of the South come to mind.

I think there are a number at the College of Wooster that had been nationals that were forced to close in the early 1900s.

Right now, there are a total of 12 "clubs", all of which are local. Students really don't call them fraternities and sororities.
