LSU had an active shooter on campus today. PNMs and sorority members were locked into the houses and not allowed to leave after their parties.

From what I can tell, there was no active shooter (no shots fired). Though, they were calling it an "armed intruder". (Is that the new name for active shooters now??).
According to the news:

A witness who was inside the building said a member of the cleaning crew said they thought they saw someone with a gun and staff reported it to police. An LSU spokesperson says the scare may have been caused by a police officer in plain clothes walking around with a gun on his belt.

KKG at Clemson welcomed 90 new members according to what I saw on FB. Still don't know what quota was or any information for the other sororities.

The situation must have been frightening for everyone. All of those young women in recruitment stuck inside the parties with no cell phones to call/text their parents. That must have been nerve wracking for a while there.
