I am rooting for Gamma Beta at UCSB and Epsilon Chi at Cal Poly SLO. I am a GB alum and my (real) little sister Alexis is the VP Recruitment at EC. She's getting a little nervous but their chapters rocks so I am sure they will be fine!
It will be a weird experience having to miss out this year - I was so heavily involved for 3 years and now nothing! We grew so much in the three years I was there (thanks somewhat in part to Laura D.
) so I can't wait to see how much they ROCK this year.
I am actually shadowing the UCSB Greek Advisor for the week in the office and during walk-arounds, because I will be supervising my first NPC recruitment at UC Santa Cruz this year. I have to thus disaffiliate like a Rho Chi (no pref night!) but I get to show up on Bid Day!!! I will also be present at SLO's bid matching to support my sister.
