LSU has the legend that you will marry the person that you kiss on the steps of the clock tower as the clock strikes midnight. In fact, campus programming has staged an event where they get couples to kiss on the steps at midnight, to try and get a group together that's large enough to break the world's record for the most people kissing.
My boy and I were there - and the way things are going it looks like the legend is true!
