Saw him in concert 3 times, one of my absolute favorites. I'm not usually effected by the deaths of most celebrities or musicians, but Bowie's was difficult to mentally digest. I had to go for a walk that night, and it was freezing out.
I have sadly never seen him.
And yes, the collective anguish has been astounding.
