As like a few of the people have stated, I also did not think that Kappa was for me. I wanted to be a Theta. I knew all the girls there but when I went through Recruitment I was pondering if I really wanted to be with them. I went though and I did not get a bid from Theta but I received one from Kappa and I am SSSSSOOOOO happy about my decision.

Kappa has put me in a leadership position and I have friends that I would not have had if I did not join the wonderful group. Kappa also provides you friends around the country and opportunities to help other people in the community.
I also joined as a sophomore but I also (like another Posting) am attending Lawrence University where the Greek system is very small. As I went in I received a warm welcome from everyone the alumna and the active members. My advice to you is pledge the house you feel most comfortable in and that you think you will have the most fun. If they do not give you a bid because of the size of the chapter they may have an event after that will enable you to join but not through the Recruitment part. I hope you have a fun time going through Recruitment!
