That works. We usually taped little construction-paper hearts over our rho chis' faces. You can also do something similar with digital images - it just takes a little photoshopping.
Also, once rho chis had been selected, whenever we had a group event like a formal, we always took one or two pictures with all the sisters except the rho chis.
