"This is the second time in more than a decade a newborn baby was found dead at Muskingum University on the same street. In 2002, a baby was discovered in a dumpster. The mother was convicted and served prison time."
Wait, what's going on at this school? I'm pretty sure that no dead babies have been left on my college's (or really, most colleges) sorority row--and especially not twice in a 13-year timespan.

There was nothing saying the one in 2002 had anything to do with any Greek organization or its home. This is a very small school (under 2000 undergrads) so I'm guessing it's more like "student housing row" than sorority row. If all the students are living in the same area it kind of stands to reason that's where anything concerning students is going to happen.

FWIW, muskingum doesn't have a sorority row. The street the Deltas are on isn't even entirely campus-owned. Some are just normal residential homes, a couple sororities, and mostly faculty housing. So in a row of 3 houses you could have Greeks, their Bio professor, and a family of 4 who has nothing to do with MU.

Okay...but still. My question remains, what's going on there? This isn't like NYU, with 50,000 students right in the middle of one of the world's largest cities.

It's a very small school in a very small village where I'm guessing Planned Parenthood or any such services are nonexistent. How much the church connection has to do with education students get or don't get regarding sexual activity, I couldn't say.
