Dr. Who: The Ride?
http://youtu.be/CJm6w0HWQc8?t=55s
Road trip to London? I'm starting a new savings account for traveling to this. It opens in 2020.
And a Star Trek sim ride?
Anyone have any smelling salts?

"The Greeks WHO Happen to be WHOvians Invade England 2020."
Think that would fit on a tee-shirt? LOL.

Well, this year's Christmas special has aired, "Last Christmas"; a very unique premise but I would love to see a new companion enter the TARDIS; I like the teamwork aspect of the show, when they have enough companions.
Not a spoiler: it was all over the news that Jenna Coleman has signed on for all of season 9.
I watched some classic Tom Baker recently. That man was brilliant, and IMO, he's my fave Doctor, as he is the first Doctor I saw in action. His episodes were aired on various PBS stations in syndication in the late 80s and were edited to form one long show. 4 episodes minimum at about 25 minutes each; 100 minutes on average on a Saturday night at 10pm.
When a traveling Dr. Who mobile exposition was traveling around the country visiting various PBS stations, Jon Pertwee was traveling with it. On the day he was there, me and a buddy of mine got to be his assistants and help with crowd control, running errands for Mr. Pertwee, etc., etc. We even got to have tea with him in his Winnebago during a break; very much he was a proper English gentleman. Once I find it, I will get a picture scanned and post here.

I've been disappointed in the writing in this season. My husband (a Whovian since he was a little boy) and I have been wondering if Moffat & Co. did some serious acid, and then one of them said, "Duuuuude ... What if the moon were ... an egg?" - and that's where "Kill the Moon" came from.
Anyway. I'm currently re-watching some Classic Who, specifically "Logopolis", which was the episode where Tegan Jovanka was introduced. I find myself wondering what would have happened if Tegan and Donna had ever met ...

I never got to see McCoy's run in full, as PBS stopped airing The Doctor right after Colin Baker's run. They have one or two of McCoy's on Netflix so I might have to do a dvd binge of his short era.

My DH is a HUGE Doctor Who fan, and right now he's sooooo excited that tomorrow he's going to be in a Q and A session, get an autograph, and get his picture taken with his favorite doctor, David Tennant!
He may not sleep tonight lol!
