She provided the narrator's voice in a Sesame Street series of animated shorts called "Letterman." She was a force of nature, undeniable.

Oh my gosh, thank you for reminding me of these! (It was Electric Company not SS though. ) That was probably my first exposure to her. When I did see her as a comedian when I was older, it was like reuniting with a friend.
