You can try to reassure him that 1) girls are different than boys and 2) things are MUCH more uptight than they were back in his day. Unless of course by out of hand, you mean he bought too many letter shirts.

Haha! Oh I've tried everything but he is so against greek life now that it drives me insane! When I told him I was rushing, he was like "oh no, now you?" I think after the first semester he'll come around! Maybe then he can pay for my dues haha!
