I think the key is to listen to the *exact* phrasing. There are a lot of different terms.

ADPi was the first, but they *called* themselves the Adelphian Society (correct me, please, if I'm wrong.) Phi Mu wasn't far behind with the Philomathian Society. Phi Mu was founded in 1852, and I *think* ADPi was earlier that year, but they may have been the year before.

I bet Theta was the first to use greek letters, and that's where the confusion sets in.
