Also there was a thread on here in 2003 where a member of a local claimed they were the first fraternity for women. It was Phi Nu I think? At MacMurray College?
This thread seems to have been about the claims of the organizations within the article listed in the original posting.....I believe reading further down that it was others who began to "bicker" about the thread.

I highly doubt that anyone even bothered to click the link. It's very informative on women's organizations.

Before someone posts anything they should take the time to read all the info before making comments.

Just an thought. There is no need to create a hostile environment where non existed......

QF. Pot, meet kettle. You need to go back and re-read. And you would be smart to lurk.

Mrs alpha zeta theta...you seem to be the most hostile person responding? What did I ever do to you?

I find the histories of the various organizations interesting and joined GC to learn what I can, and to share things I've also learned.

You seem to have some grudge that needs to be resolved, have you seen anyone about your anger issues?

Anyway, this thread was about the history of women's orgs. It's only a waste of time to those who are self centered with their own egos than about the pursuit of learning.

How many male collegiate sinfonians do you think would be reading threads about women's fraternity minutia? I think not. Alpha Zeta Theta? What high school sorority is that? And do you have a badge to sell us?
