Monthly boxes? Do you mean feminine protection products?
There's a whole psychology to using color to influence purchase decisions. Blue is associated with trust and reliability, so it makes sense if that's what you are referring to.

I saw her on 60 Minutes last week, along with a handful of other billionaires, who have pledged to donate at least half of their wealth to philanthropic endeavors (through The Giving Pledge, created by Warren Buffett and Bill Gates). She said she started her company with $5,000.

Good to hear
This is inspiring. I've read several stories where people have become extremely wealthy from a small investment. Good for them! I hope more of the 1% or even those in the 10% bracket, began donating some of their money to worthy causes. Personally, I pray that much of is ear-marked for saving our environment and wildlife.

You can read the letters from each pledgor through this link. Each letter briefly outlines how the pledgor plans to contribute to society. They cover everything from the environment, to education overseas, to homelessness here at home, to childhood cancer, etc.

Sara Blakely (Tri Delta, Spanx creator) has made a pledge to help women, especially in other parts of the world where they may not be as fortunate as we are here in the United States.
Quote:
“I pledge to invest in women because I believe it offers one of the greatest returns on investment. I am committed to the belief that we would all be in a much better place if half the human race (women) were empowered to prosper, invent, be educated, start their own businesses, run for office – essentially be given the chance to soar!”

the truth about Phi Beta PINK!

I don't know, it just doesn't seem right for just anyone to have "mock letters", plus it's a company that basically sells itself on sex appeal - not a great Greek image.
I don't know, what do you guys think? Has anyone else seen this? I know there are a lot of threads on the fact that no one needs to be "the letter police", but it seems really odd that a store is selling this stuff.
EDIT: I just searched it, and they've got shirts with the greek letters Phi Beta Pi on them. According to one website, the designer of the whole line is a Pi Phi?

Victoria Secret used to be called Phi Beta PINK because a Pi Phi was the Designer for Victoria Secret. That's why VS's mascot is an angel b/c Pi Phi's mascot is an angel. Phi Beta PINK is a play on words for Pi Beta Phi. And there is a secret that only piphi's know about Victoria Secret.

LOL that anyone would think their sorority had a secret tie with an underwear company. OMG. I'm dying.

Very true, and they might as well be fashionable.

My daughter is a Pi Phi and I forced her to tell me the secret. I really shouldn't post it here publicly, but if Pi Phi felt it was worthy of changing their ritual, it's important enough that all should know.
The Secret: (An angel came to earth and shared that panty lines are now considered a sin, especially during recruitment.)
Another little-known fact is that Delta Delta Delta also changed their ritual to reference the fact that Neptune rose from the sea to share the idea for Spanx.
Too bad it's not April Fool's Day....

Wow, are these posters b******s, or what? Catty remarks!
Jumping down the throat of some fellow greek ladies who fell for an 'urban legend'?
I know AOPi, and KKG, both have inaccurate postings on their webpages. LOL.
They would DIE, and not of laughter, if they knew their sorority's nicknames at my school. One of which folded and the other is considered 'bottom tier'.
ALL sororities have 'urban legends' and ALL sororities claim famous alumnae who aren't members. Panellenic Love….

Frankly, your "calling out" sororities by name and making rude comments about their "status" on your campus is much less Panhellenic than some tongue-in-cheek joking around that no one who has been around here for a long time takes seriously.

Ha!
The 'tongue-in-cheek' attacks are mean spirited, even if the 'old-timers' don't take them seriously…really? Making fun of people is cool?
It's not ok to make fun of any sorority, in any manner. As far as calling out specific sororities, I think that has been done.
The 'old-timers' on GC need to brush off the dust on their etiquette books, if this that is considered fun. For the holier than thou groups, it's time to look at one's comments.
Panhell love….
