Ha! That may have been me as I think I posted that somewhere up thread.

We did that with both of our kids- what name could be a Supreme Court Justice and what name written on a physician's lab coat wouldn't make patients run for cover.

The names that we settled on are timeless, have been around since Biblical times, and have also been the names of British Royalty. We call each by a nickname, but they have their full names to fall back on if they want to sound more "prestigious" later in life.

For little HQ, I had it narrowed down to two names, but I couldn't decide, so I googled them both. One got me a lot of facebook connections to seemingly happy people most of whom were photoed on beaches. The other came up with a serial killer from Europe, so that made that easy.

I think our kids might have the same names

I had a student named Atreyu. Guessing his parents were into The Never Ending Story

Another one was Marijana. I took a double take and was relieved when it was pronounced Marianna. I think it's a common eastern European name
