So, let me state in words what the shocked-faced gifs are expressing:

We are witnessing two adult women who are at least 20-25 years past their undergraduate NPC initiation, still holding a grudge over some incident that one perceives as real, and the other is not exactly denying it. And apparently this grudge is over some isht one said about the other's chapter.

And we all get to watch this fight on a public message board because neither will be the bigger person and just let it go and walk away. Because I'm sure that whatever this is about, it is really small and petty.

I'm also bothered a little because it seems to me both of these women project the notion that the only thing they have going for them is their sorority affiliation since their feelings over it are so easily bruised.

Oh, and I will never get tired of looking at Prince. NEVER.

HE IS MY ABSOLUTE FAVORITE! I quote him daily! His side-eye is legendary!

And I agree with your entire assessment.

What we have here (on this thread and the other locked Alabama thread) is a bunch of biddies PMing one another about my identity, and clucking off-topic on both threads to provoke drama.

With lots of on-lookers.

No one is forcing either of you to have this out in public.

Both of you are doing so because y'all obviously need the attention.

You started this thread with the intent to keep the isht going. Don't act like you are an innocent victim.

No, this is incorrect. During recruitment, either last year or the year before, the other poster made some disparaging remarks about my chapter of initiation that went back to when she was in school in 1978. I was there 15 years before. I asked her to stop, she refused and has kept on with little gigs here and there whenever she saw an opportunity. We did have an offline conversation where I asked her to stop mentioning my chapter and she refused. I have no clue what the source of her animus may be. And I never heard of her until the above mentioned encounter.

So, in other words this is over some petty bs.

Be the bigger person. Who cares what she said.

Has what she said hurt DG's recruitment efforts? Did it stop you from getting your paycheck?

Being in SGR, we are the smallest NPHC sorority in membership for which we get teased a lot!!! I do mean a lot.

If I got angry every time some Delta, AKA, or Zeta made some negative remarks, then I would have died from high blood pressure when I was 21. I'm just north of 35 now.

Really, who cares what one person said about DG all those years ago that has had no impact on DG then, today, and in the future.

Both of y'all need to grow up.

Yes, follows is the original grudge thread, my first posts on this forum (I didn't say anything in 1978, lol). Just in case you have a morning to kill and are really, really bored.

Cheese and rice. Stop it, both of you. I'm coming up on my 10 year anniversary and I wasn't even born in 1978.

Stop it. BOTH of you. Seriously. Act your damned ages.
