Winners, losers emerge in UA sorority race debate

Not in the loop regarding the conspiracy/tent talk that apparently locked the previous thread, but the press continues:

denial. hint: it is not a river in Egypt.

Hart, at first i thought you were just a clueless Alum with a strange focus on Delta Gamma at UA. Now I see you for the troll you are, go away.

DrPhil 09-22-2013 12:11 PM

How dare you all get that other thread closed. GC heathens, the whole lot a ya!

DrPhil 09-22-2013 12:18 PM

And I don't think it is ever appropriate to call out usernames' real names. Find other ways to bitch slap them. I still don't know who in the hell this person is but I prefer for people to not be called out using their real name.

I agree... but I don't think Hart helped her cause by continuing to comment and obviously play dumb, even when she was essentially being called out. It almost seemed like she was pushing for it to happen.

GC would be boring if usernames didn't sometimes push. Sometimes you have to find other ways to respond to their push. This has been discussed on GC before.

Does anyone know what other Bama sororities have pledged minorities? Am hoping that finally the gates are opened! Historically the machine fraternities have helped in keeping the gates closed. It is my understanding the NPC sororities have agreed to a pact to circumvent any backlash.

 Hi there, Hart.

Say what? My second post and you are rude?
This is why I hate message boards.
I asked a question and the answer interests me. I am ready for my University and it's Greek system to join the 21st century. Having gone to school in the 70s and watched Panhellenic bow to the Machine, am particularly glad to see the Greek women of Alabama stand up to them. Yes I know sororities, including mine, are members......in name only
Anyway....
Thank you so much for the welcome.

Oh. So you're not Hartofsec? Hm.

The timing seemed so coincidental I just assumed you two were one in the same. If I was wrong, my apologies.

Welcome to GC!

To me, the response cemented your theory. Someone new to the scene wouldn't have known to what you were referring to call you rude. Oh well.

Exaaaaactly...

Bama54 09-22-2013 03:42 PM

I have asked the admins to check my URL and my email (which is my real name BTW).
If you don't know the answer to my question, then why be rude?

DrPhil 09-22-2013 03:46 PM

The eye roll is what made it rude.

I would love for that to be Hart because it would be fun and I'm at the airport. If it isn't Hart, I hope that person doesn't bore us with such questions. Been there, done that.
