That's different than saying that non-white members of NPCs are "pretending" to beo something they are not. How the *#&$^&@#% would she know what their experience is or isn't? How would she know what they want or should want or what would be best for them?
Diana007's suggestions that NPC groups are only for WASPs is wrong. An NPC is a different experience for non-white members and lots of people may prefer an NPHC group for very good reasons. The women who choose to join NPC groups, however, aren't pretending to be something that they are not.
We're also maybe running up against different expectations re. member intake. NPHC groups seem to say "do your research and then approach a group that you want to join." NPC says "keep an open mind and go through recruitment."
BTW, DianaOO7 doesn't really have a lane. She is a college graduate. Many (most?) NPC groups don't actively recruit women who are post-graduation.
