Someone correct me, but won't her college GPA be the one that counts? My understanding is once you have college time, your high school GPA doesn't count.

Generally yes. I am pretty sure ASU follows this.

As for getting recs, ask every woman you know if they were in a sorority. I've been an alum for over two years and am still finding women who I have known since I was a baby who are alums of sororities. It isn't too late. Too late is only after recruitment starts.
