OMG, I was floored by the episode. So out of character for the show. I did not cry, but WHOA that got dark.

Does anyone else remember the 1988 movie The In Crowd, about an American Bandstand-like teen dance show? There's one scene in that movie that still makes me cry every time: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=usc-BVx42l0

Books about animals like Black Beauty, Big Red by Jim Kjelgaard, and anything by the British veterinarian James Herriott, like All Creatures Great and Small.
I would be an awful vet because I can't stand to see animals in pain.
Almost any song by Bobby Goldsboro, especially Autumn of My Life, Honey, and Watchin' Scotty Grow.
Red Sovine Songs like Sad Song Teddy Bear and Giddy Up Go (he's from West Virginia & I just found out about him about 3 months ago).

Omigosh, good call on Michael W. Smith's Friends! Also, Ray Boltz's Thank You does the same thing to me.
Also, pet rescue videos, especial Eldad Haggar's/Hope For Paws. These two are my favorites:
Sky and Apollo (Check out their Facebook page! They are the ultimate feel good story!)
Fiona This video gained her the 2012 Rescue of the Year (I think, I can never quit crying long enough to see for sure!)

The part where he talks about being asked by pet owners whether he thinks animals go to heaven, and his rationale for why he thinks they do...I haven't read that in years, but I still remember how that affected me.

I am so bad about this - I cry:
1. when teaching "To An Athlete Dying Young" and "Our Town". Both remind me of former students who died far too young.
2. when singing sorority songs - great for pref ceremonies, when the belief was that making pnms cry was a good thing. I cry buckets.
3. during sorority ritual.
4. during the opening of the Magic Kingdom -http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zTo1WKsVzyQ
5. during graduation ceremonies.

1) At a firefighter memorial or funeral when the bagpipers begin the haunting strains of Amazing Grace. That just sticks me right in the heart every time.
2) Similarly, when a dispatcher tones the "Last Alarm" for a fallen firefighter. If you don't know what I'm talking about, here's the Last Alarm for my beloved Fire Chief: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mNw4z3UtcWs
Ok yeah...I shouldn't have listed to that again because now I'm crying.
3) The song "Arlington" by Trace Adkins. This verse in particular:
I remember daddy brought me here when I was eight,
We searched all day to find out where my granddad lay,
And when we finally found that cross,
He said, 'Son this is what it cost, to keep us free'.
Now here I am a thousand stones away from him,
He recognized me on the first day I came in,
And it gave me a chill, when he clicked his heels, and saluted me."

I'm not a country fan either, but 'The Good Stuff' by Kenny Chesney is what gets me.
A book that makes me cry:
Lone Survivor: The eyewitness account of operation redwing and the lost heroes of Seal Team 10 - Marcus Luttrell
And a commercial:
The Google Chrome commercial with a dad and his daughter, who just went off to college: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w1sT7QV8nfU

Many of the ones mentioned in this thread and more that I will add later.
The movie Up. Seriously, the first ten or so minutes of that movie make me cry every. single. time. The end makes me cry as well.

Initiation. Singing the Allegri Miserere. And embarassingly enough, when I am murderously angry.
Now which movies do that . . .

Beaches
Stepmom- There's a scene where the Mom is giving her kids gifts and saying her goodbyes to them. I can't even imagine...
