Affiliating with New Chapter

All you would need to do is talk to your current CP and CA to get the appropriate paperwork. You must leave your current chapter in good standing, which they will attest to in said paperwork. There is no waiting period or vote needed to let you affiliate with the new chapter, but I would advise that you take your time and get to know the new chapter BEFORE YOU decide to affiliate. Not all chapters are the same. For every member that transfers and has a great experience in her chapter, their is a member who doesn't affiliate or wishes she didn't because she doesn't feel she fits in. I say this because once you choose to affiliate, you can't go back. You have to pay dues and be active in the chapter until you graduate or depledge. If you hang out for awhile and find out that the girls are not like you, you save yourself a lot of hassle and preserve your AOII membership.
