I think parties are probably pretty different than they were in your day and situations can be very bad for someone who is still in high school, far away from home and with people who aren't necessarily going to be there and interested enough or sober enough to always look out for your little girl especially since they don't know her. Bad stuff happens all the time. It's not a good idea.
